Course descriptions:           Earth Science is the study of Earth and Space. This year we are covering a variety of topics including: Geology, Meteorology, and Astronomy.

Personal information:

I grew up in Crescent City, CA. I taught 8th grade Physical Science at Crescent Elk Middle School before I moved to Eugene this year.

I am excited to be living and working in a new area. So far, all the people and students that I have met have been welcoming.

 

I enjoy sports and outdoor activities. I coached 7/8 volleyball in the fall and am currently coaching 7th grade basketball.   

I was a member of the UC Davis WomenÕs Rowing Team for 4 years. We won 2 National Champion titles during my rowing career.  It was a great experience and hard work.

 

IÕm excited to be working with Hamlin and hope to see many great years to come.

 

Class rules / expectations:

  1. Work Hard (being on task in class and completing all assignments).
  2. Play Hard (working hard but having fun at the same time).
  3. Be on Time (not missing out on warm-ups and class time).
  4. Be Polite (being respectful to the teacher and their peers).

 

Daily Planner Expectations:

Every day the students update their ÒDaily PlannerÓ with what they did in class and what is for homework.

Students are expected to be responsible young adults that check their planner and complete all homework assignments on time.
