Teacher:
Mr. Peter Schull- Graduate Bachelor of Arts in History
1980. Masters in Education 1989, University of Oregon.
Art historians are
concerned with gathering information about works of art and the artists
who created them. They try to find answers to questions such as when,
where and why was the artwork created.
“It
is virtually impossible to imagine any society with out art of some
kind. Indeed, the visual arts, music, drama, dance and other
forms of arts, add a sense of pleasure of life.”
As part of the history
selective system seniors may select Global history courses. Often
students are interested in course work that relates to their
interests. The arts are an important part of the curriculum at
Springfield High School. Other courses are Western Civilization
and Global Realities
