Grading Breakdown:

Tests & Quizzes: 40%
Assignments: 30%
Final: 20%
Attendance: 10%

Attendance:

• Students are expected to be in class everyday.  If absent students must make up the work missed.
• Students late more that twice (2 times) a week will be given after school detention.

Assignments:

• Assignments missed because of an unexcused absence will be accepted and be given a maximum score of 60% of the possible points.
• Any assignment missed because of an excused absence may be made up with no penalty within 2 days of returning from the absence.  Later, and it will be considered unexcused.

Classroom Policies:

• Cell phones and MP3 players are not to be on or visible in class.  PERIOD.  Any cell phone that goes off in class or is caught being used, the battery is handed over until the end of the day.
• YOU are responsible for all missing work.
