English 9 is a required class for all freshmen. Students who pass the course will earn 1/2 credit per semester. Students will read from the Language and Literature textbook as well as from supplementary novels. During the freshman year, students will perform two speeches, write numerous essays, complete a research paper and design a family biography project.   Students and parents are encouraged to check-in with this website for major assignment due dates, extra credit opportunities, and important internet sites.
